First-class bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) or equivalent in Computer Science, with 2 years of professional experience in software development in a public or private national or international organization. The applicant must have proven experience in desktop/web-based software development.

(Fixed remuneration as per government minimum wage rate)

MS degree in Botany with specialization in Plant Taxonomy.

Preference will be given to candidates who have published research work or thesis in Plant Taxonomy and have at least one year of work experience in a Herbarium or relevant field.

    1. All the candidates are advised to download the application form available on the university website uobs.edu.pk . The candidates are required to fill in, print the form and submit to the Registrar Office only along with all required/demanded documents. Applications are accepted only by hand or through courier. Applicants must receive a duly signed and stamp receipt of documents submission from the HR Office.
    2. Applicants must deposit Rs. 1000/- (for Junior Programmer) non-refundable application processing fee, in the name of University of Baltistan, Skardu, NBP Account No: PK92NBPA0486004145654984 and submit one copy of the slip during the form submission.
    3. Incomplete or applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
    4. The University reserves the right not to fill/withdraw/change any number of positions/withhold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.
    5. The candidate already in Government Service must submit NOC with the application form.
    6. Certificate of post-graduate experience or university level experience in the relevant subject duly issued from the office of the Competent Authority must be submitted along with the application form. No advantage, whatsoever, would be given if Experience Certificates are not attached.
    7. The Candidates must submit HEC Equivalence Certificate(s) with the application form, where applicable, otherwise, their applications would not be entertained / considered.
    8. All appointments are subject to verification of their degrees from HEC.
    9. The evaluation of the Scrutiny Committee shall be considered final and only short listed candidates will be called for interview.
    10. General age relaxation shall be given to applicants as per Federal Government age relaxation policy.
    11. Applications complete in all respects must be submitted by hand or through courier during office timing not later than July 12, 2024. Applications shall be submitted only in Registrar Office at the Main Campus Hussainabad. Applicants who submit their forms by hand must receive acknowledgement receipt from the HR Office at the time of form submission.
    12. All communications during the selection process (call for interview/test etc.) with the candidates will be made through official email only.
    13. No TA/DA will be admissible.
