Consultancy Services Required for GLOF-II at University of Baltistan

University of Baltistan, Skardu is a federally chartered public sector university. The university is academic partner with the GB Government Planning and Development Department (PO &DD) in GLOF-II project funded by UNDP.

For the component of GIS/RS and Biodiversity and Climate Change, the project requires short term assignment based consultancy services. The candidates should have preferably PhD in relevant subject areas (Biodiversity/ Climate Change, GIS/ RS). The candidate must have:

1-      At least 4-5 years working experience in relevant fields with national or internationally reputed organizations. Excellent skills in report writing and data analysis (qualitative, quantitative and image processing).

2-      Sound research background with publications in national and international reputed journals.

3-      Working with NGOs in the community mobilization, especially in PRA, RNA, RRA and socio-economic analysis and valley profiling sectors will be desired.

4-      Working experience and understanding about national and an international donor agencies and NGOs will be preferred.
