Building and Works Section
Building and works Directorate of University of Baltistan Skardu comprises of Engineering Section, Drawing and Design Section and Maintenance Section headed by the Project Director. The Directorate is responsible for preparation of drawings/ designs, estimation, billings of different development works, their tendering and execution under the guidance and supervision of the Project Director. The Project Directorate is successfully executing buildings of the development Projects like the PSDP "Estalishment of University of Baltistan"  and the "Strrenthening of UOBS".  The Administration Building, Academic Blocks, Main Library, Bachelor Hostel, Girls Hostel, Boys Hostel, Balti Museum, Technical Incubation Centers in four districts of Baltistan and External Development works (Roads Work, Water Supply, Power supply, Sewerage System, Land Development and Plantation works etc) are in progress. The Directorate  deals future projects as well. This Directorate will provide 24 hours utility services like uninterrupted water and Power Supply to all the departments, Administration Block and Students' Hostels, Supports Complexes and Staff Residences at the Campus.
