Dr. Salar Ali

Brief Description

Dr. Salar Ali completed PhD under CAS-TWAS President’s fellowship Programme, Chinese Academy of sciences, China. He was only the candidate from Gilgit-Baltistan for this program in the year 2015 and awarded as best international student conferred by the Nanjing Government for the year 2017-18. He has published 27 international publications and attended several international conferences and conduct seminars and workshops as organizer. He has worked more than six years’ research experience in conservation and development of sustainable management and environmental legislation in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan in reputed organizations like ICIMODE, EPA, GTZ and PMAC and successfully completed 5 projects including SRGP (HEC project). Dr. Salar Ali has past three years working experienced as a lecturer in Karakoram International University and two year worked experience as an Assistant Professor at University at University of Baltistan, Skardu. Currently he is serving as an Assistant professor & Head of Department of Environmental at University of Baltistan, Skardu.
