 Secretary to Vice Chancellor (BPS-17)

Qualification/Experience: 1st class Master’s degree preferably in English/Public Administration/Computer Sciences/International Relations from any HEC recognized University. Candidate with good command of English and Urdu languages will be preferred.

3 years’ experience in Management/Administration/Public Relations in HEC recognized University/Institute or any Government or autonomous national or international organization.

Assistant Registrar

(BPS-17)

 

Qualification/Experience: 1st class Master’s degree preferably in administrative sciences (Management/Administration) or LLB//MA/MSc or equivalent from HEC recognized University/ Institution with 03 years’ experience in Management/Establishment/Administration/Teaching in HEC recognized University/Institution or any Government or autonomous national or international organization in pay scale 16.

Should be well versed in latest office techniques, use of computer and capable of communication with teachers, students.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. All the candidates are advised to download the application form available on the university website uobs.edu.pk. The candidates are required to print the form, fill in and submit to the university along with all required/demanded documents. Applications are accepted only by hand or through courier. Applicants must receive a duly signed and stamp receipt of documents submission from Registrar office or get confirmation through a telephonic call/email on given telephone number or email address.
  2. Applicants must deposit Rs.3000/- (for BPS-18 & 19) and Rs.2000/- (for BPS 17) non-refundable application processing fee, for each position separately in the name of University of Baltistan, Skardu, NBP Account No: 0486004147744785 and submit one copy of the slip during the form submission. Applicants from abroad may submit 50 Dollars via bank draft in case of faculty positions and 40 Dollars in case of other advertised positions via bank draft.
  3. Incomplete or applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
  4. The candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate Job Application and separate application processing fee for each position.
  5. The University reserves the right not to fill/withdraw/change any number of positions/withhold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.
  6. The candidate already in Government Service must submit NOCwith the application form, otherwise his or her application shall not be entertained as Government employee.
  7. Certificate of Post-graduate teaching experience or university level experience in the relevant subject(in case of teaching positions), clearly mentioning the duration, and other experience certificates (in case of administrative positions), duly issued from the office of the Competent Authority must be submitted along with the application form. No advantage, whatsoever, would be given if Experience Certificates are not attached.
  8. The Candidates (in case of teaching positions only) must submit HEC Equivalence Certificate(s) with the application form, where applicable, otherwise, their applications would not be entertained / considered.
  9. All appointments are subject to verification of their degrees from HEC.
  10. The evaluation of the Scrutiny committee shall be considered final and only short listed candidates will be called for interview.
  11. General age relaxation shall be given to applicants as per Federal Government age relaxation policy.
  12. Applications complete in all respects must be submitted by hand or through courier not later than January11, 2020.

Note:

  • All communications during the selection process (call for interview/test etc.) with the candidates will be made through official email.
  • No TA/DA would be admissible when called for test/interview.
